Nassau, Bahamas, October 25th, 2021 – Miss Bahamas Teen Organization, the spokesperson for Miss Bahamas Teen Organization is announcing this week at Facebook, Instagram,, and local media circulars that the organization has officially appointed a new Director to take on the mantle for the Miss Bahamas Teen Organization as of September 21st, 2021.

We present to you Ms. Nyisha Tilus Director
Miss Bahamas Teen Organization®
Ms. Tilus is no stranger to pageantry. She currently holds the title of Ms. Supranational Bahamas 2021. Ms. Tilus holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, she is an experienced Event and Production Coordinator. Her passion for the pageant industry and youth development are just a few of the requirements the organization was seeking.
Miss Bahamas Teen Organization’s new appointment will not affect our commitment to mentorship. The organization will remain focused on youth development and empowerment through pageantry.
The decision of the president Ms. Anishka Lockhart to appoint a new director was no easy task but it comes a time when the guards must change and the baton passed on. Ms. Anishka Lockhart held the Directorship position from 2012 to the date of this release. The organization finds it fitting to allow new talent and skills to take our organization to another level.
Our goal is to achieve our mission by bringing out the best in our youth through training, education, and pageantry. To promote the nation’s finest teenagers through our annual national pageant program in the Bahamas. This program will consist of months of intensive training, grooming, coaching, and preparation that will conclude with the coronation of a youth ambassador who will represent our country at the international pageant and at local promotional events.
Miss Bahamas Teen Organization was founded in 2012 by President -Anishka Lockhart, Registered with the Registrar General Department and Pageant Planet over the years the organization has fully transitioned into fully being a non-profit organization with the approval of the Attorney General office. The organization has successfully titled eight youth ambassadors who have all represented the country locally and internationally. The international representatives have all done well at their international competitions always landing a spot in the semifinals and top 5 coming as close to 1st runner up position.
There is no indication yet of whether this will be the only change to Miss Bahamas Teen Organization’s image or just the first of many. Members of the organization and partners are optimistic about the alterations.
